Swizterland And Austria

In Switzerland we picked up Bernard, the St. Bernard. But of course there are no photos! I cannot tell you how much this hacks me off.

We started out in Bern where Lorin almost cried because after the Parisites, nice people were a welcome relief! From Bern we rode the Glacier Express to Zermatt

The Matterhorn!

Look how pretty!

We had real fondue that evening and got really blitzed off wine.

Then we moved on to Vienna, after a rather unfortunate incedent with a train - sitting in a station in Zurich for four hours is not fun

Vienna was beautiful but Erin and Lorin got food poisoning and pretty much ended up crashing out in the hostel for two days.

Erin went home on July 5th and there were not very many adventures while Lorin was studying at AIMS - that is until she had a nervous break down at the end of July. Apparently young singers do that. BECAUSE THEY ARE LAME! It's jsut not that deep people! In any case, she and I went to Vienna where we wandered around for hours looking for Beethoven's house.

(he still lives there, you know)

Lorin did rather misbehave that evening, I have no problem telling you - and all because it rained

We went to the Zentralfriedhof to see Beethoven, Shubert and Brahms. Lorin cried. I was annoyed to see people taking photos, it just seemed rude at the time. Now it sounds silly and we have no photos to show for it, but it just felt off taking photos of the graves of men that we admire and love so much.
